Drawing Collage and Prints

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

―Albert Einstein

Being open to possibilities, and experimenting are intertwined with the consolidation of ideas that emerge from this process, to form new bodies of work that exploit continuous themes and methods of working.

Drawing is an essential part of the exploratory process and is frequently combined with mixed media, collage, and fragments of painted or printed papers.

Photography is also a useful tool and memory aid, especially for capturing those fleeting moments and subtle changes of light and colour.

Printmaking is linked to my work, and has been the mainstay throughout much of my creative practice, where some print processes are adapted and used in my paintings.
